BoxBell is made by Nurshat Bakytzhan, trading as Luxxat Labs, IP — a sole proprietor (ИП) registered in Kazakhstan. It's a one-person team; there's no company behind this beyond me. Questions or requests about this policy: hello@luxxatlabs.com.
BoxBell works fully offline. There's no account, no sign-up, and no server this app talks to for anything you actually do inside it — setting a timer, running a round, changing a setting. The only data collected passes through Google Firebase, which I use purely as a processor: Google runs the servers, I read the reports.
Neither is linked to your identity in any way — there's no account to link them to. Advertising identifiers are stripped out of the app entirely, and on iPhone, Apple's per-device identifier (IDFV) collection is switched off in the build. None of this is used to track you across other apps or the web; that isn't something this app is built to do.
BoxBell Pro is a one-time in-app purchase — a single payment, not a subscription. It's processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play, whichever store you downloaded BoxBell from. I never see or store your card details, billing address, or any other payment information — that stays between you and Apple or Google. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, your purchase restores through your store account using the app's Restore Purchase option.
Because there's no account, there's no server-side profile of you to delete. The only data that exists is the anonymous crash reports and usage counts described above, and neither is tied to your identity. If you'd like a deletion request handled anyway, email hello@luxxatlabs.com and I'll act on it.
BoxBell is a general-purpose sports timer, not a service directed at children. It has no age-gated content, no chat, no social features of any kind. It isn't intentionally directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age — see "What we don't collect" above.
If what BoxBell collects ever changes, I'll update this page and the effective date at the top. Since BoxBell doesn't collect an email address from you, I can't notify you directly — checking this page is the way to stay current.
